Standing Up for What is Right:
It can be hard but it definitely is worth it. I know for me the process can be difficult and painful yet rewarding as well.
Recently there was an incident at my job, no one else wanted to speak up yet everyone else had a voice. It was mind boggling how much people just would sit around complaining all the time yet never strive to make a difference.
For me, my busy schedule and lifestyle did not call me to make a difference but I felt it was necessary for me due to the corner I was being pushed in.
The first view weeks were really hard but now I can say that I see the pay off of it and its wonderful!!
SOO people if there is a problem speak up!!
A few years ago, I was working in a place where a manager repeatedly harassed an entry level worker. I had never had to make a decision about how to react to such information as she confided in me, but I eventually got very pissed off and reported him. More power to you -- if you hadn't done something, maybe nobody would have.
ReplyDeleteExcellent! It's super hard, especially in a job and I hope you have support. I'm glad you did the right thing.
ReplyDeleteI admire your courage and think it is so important to speak up. Nothing good will come out of a situation if nothing is done about it.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely respect the whole school and work thing you got going on. I am working 30-40 hours a week to go along with a full class schedule.. not easy.A lot of respect to the people that don't take garbage from anyone and stick up for what they believe in. Keep it up!
